Steve Barchie (on the right) Former Fighter Pilot turned Educator

Having served 26 years in the Air Force as a fighter pilot, flying the F-4, OV-10 and A-10 aircraft, it was time to go to work for a living.  While raising three children with my wife Carol I developed a real joy working with teenagers.  Naturally, then I wanted to do something I enjoyed so I turned to education.  Graduation day is a special joy as you see the fruit of all your hard work.  Above is a picture of me with one of my graduating seniors.

I am now teaching math at Tuscola High School and am enjoying it very much.  This year I have four Algebra I classes and one Foundation of Math class for seniors.  Please go to the appropriate page for information and a listing of assignments for each class.
